WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR (LAVAL WH)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our warehouse. The successful candidate will perform various administrative duties, including data entry, coordinating receiving and shipments appointments, welcoming drivers, and maintaining communication with internal cross-functional teams  as well as customers and carriers.

Key Responsibilities
•    Perform accurate and timely data entry to maintain warehouse records and inventory systems.
•    Receive and assist drivers upon arrival, ensuring proper documentation and instructions are provided.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Customer Service team, to streamline processes, and maintain operational excellence and efficiency. 
•    Communicate with customers and carriers to schedule and confirm appointments.
•    Maintain and organize shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
•    Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any delivery and/or receiving scheduling conflicts.
•    Respond promptly to customer and carrier inquiries via phone or email.
•    Support the monitoring of inventory levels and report discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
•    Assist with generating reports and maintaining databases.
•    Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

COMPÉTENCES

Skills and Requirements
•    High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in administration or logistics are an asset.
•    Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
•    Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and in French, as the person will have to communicate with colleagues, customers and partners all across Canada. Intermediate level of English is required.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with warehouse management software is preferred.
•    Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
•    Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
•    Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
•    Knowledge of basic logistics and warehouse operations is preferred.
